up close & personal

No matter what i do, its rarely recognized or appreciated. As much as i may place my feelings aside, you'll never be satisfied with the circumstance. No matter how much i give, you always seem to be looking for more. No matter how hard i try, i've realized that its never going to be enough. I can only give so much until i'm left with nothing. All i'm looking for is a simple "thank you" a simple gesture to show that you appreciate what i do... to show that you care about my feelings other than your own. It hurts to know that your very best will never be enough. It hurts to feel unappreciated by someone you put so much effort into.
